Mahakumbh 2025: Mahakumbh 2025 is being organized in a divine and grand manner in Tirtharaj Prayagraj. Lakhs and crores of devotees from across the country are coming to Prayagraj every day to take bath in Triveni Sangam. The biggest Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh will be done on 29th January, the date of Mauni Amavasya. More than 10 crore devotees are estimated to take bath in the holy Sangam on this day. Prayagraj Railway Board has made a special plan for crowd management of crores of devotees visiting Mahakumbh on the day of Mauni Amavasya. For this, RPF and Civil Police have jointly prepared a plan for additional holding area and mob channelization in Khusro Bagh outside the railway station.

A large number of devotees are coming to Prayagraj to see the divine and grand event of Mahakumbh. On the festival of Makar Sankranti, 3.5 crore devotees took bath in the holy Sangam. On Mauni Amavasya, the biggest festival of Mahakumbh, 10 crore devotees are estimated to take bath in the nectar at Triveni Sangam. In view of the huge crowd of devotees, the fair and railway administration have made elaborate arrangements. Senior PRO of Prayagraj Railway Division, Amit Malviya said that Prayagraj Railway has prepared a special plan for crowd management on Mauni Amavasya date. To manage the crowd of devotees and for their rest, a holding area has been prepared in Khusro Bagh outside the station premises, in which more than 1 lakh devotees can be accommodated at one time. Apart from Khusro Bagh holding area, RPF and Civil Police together have made a special plan for mob channelization on the day of Mauni Amavasya.

The route will be diverted like this

Senior PRO said that the devotees returning from the fair will be diverted to Khusro Bagh holding area before coming to the station premises. From here, passengers will be taken to color coded shelters located in the railway station in the direction of their destination station. From where the passengers will be transported to the trains of their destination station through color coded tickets, so that without stampede and confusion, the passengers can be sent to their destination stations by the right train. Additional holding area has been constructed outside the station premises so that the additional pressure of crowd can be managed outside the station premises itself.
